no its a spell you pick up in a chest in the archives called great magic shield, its probably one of the least used spells in the game. i can't even remember what the req's are but their fairly low...

Great Magic Shield was awesome before it got patched. I remember everone using in PVP. Is still viable and now its a secret! Nice video

It raises all resistances to 100%. It only lasts 30 seconds but this guy makes them count!

...just checked the wiki and it says the spell only lasts 15 seconds...hmmm...

It's good but the duration is so very short. You'd probably need to at least go into NG+ to pick 2 copies of the spell to make good use of it.

if you use the lingering ring it lasts 20 some odd seconds, not bad at all for something that basically makes you invincible.
