Greatsword of Artorias Build

I'm sure this has been posted on this forum a million plus times but whats a good build for the sword? i know you have to basically make an entire build just to use it. is there a way to maximize both your sorceries and faith slots?

I know this might not exactly be what you wanted in a reply, but here's a version of what my build would look like for this sword:

I would definitely use the Cursed variant of the sword, as to free up some stat requirements and avoid split damage between phys and magic.

The armour is also pretty much the generic set up I use for most of my builds to hit 53 poise with Wolf Ring. The Sack isn't really necessary, but just what I've always used on my builds personally.

Composite bow is always great to have with Poison arrows and large arrows when at range, and you can use GC as a zoning tool and for wake ups. It could also be subbed with black flame if you want.

Edit: This is a SL 99 build variant, since I didn't know what SL you wanted to make your build.

http://mmdks.com/zic this is my abyss sword build, highest AR of any greatsword, good synergy of the 2 "backup" spells. if you can deal with mid-roll you can easily surpass 76poise for more hit-trade (and outdamage) potential. true greatsword simply wont work anywhere in the established PvP range.

Arty Swords scale better with INT and FTH. To the OP, i say keep the minimum requirements to wield the sword and increase INT and FTH. Also, my AR is higher than you.

^AR might be higher but split damage means it will not likely do as much damage. Abyss Sword is a sheer power weapon, and at SL100 it's perfectly viable to make a build for it.

For every build you can make that doesn't have 50 in every scaling stat, the Abyss sword is stronger. Even if you do have all 50's the Abyss might be stronger with 10 Humanity and 40/40.
