Game messed?!

Hey guys,

Was using my top level character, and was in the Great Hollow. I stepped down to where the Clor ring is, and I jumped on the top of the tree (the edging). I'm now in a perpetual fall. I can't use any items, nor move. I quit/reloaded but I'm in the same spot.

Suggestions?

This is upsetting. I can't use dung pies to kill myself, nor any item/ spell. I can't escape. What the hell.

Never mind, fixed. I did a plunging attack, and I was googling on here for a solution, then all of a sudden it said I died. Lost 99 humanity and a lot of souls, but at least my game isn't messed.

Weird. Anyone ever have this happen?

I've been trapped in a perpetual fall, but resetting always worked for me. Strange. At least you got it figured out though.

I had the same issue once. Had some graphics glitches (dirty disc I think) in Darkroot by the Artorias Door fire. I invaded someone with the Cat ring and when I ended that battle it glitched me off the map. Then I fell and fell some more. That time I respawned in the cell you start the game in.

DARK SIGN is made for times like those. There are a couple spots in the game where it's possible to get STUCK. FROM put the Dark Sign in there for those times, prolly.
