4 Queens of New Londo

There is nothing that I'm aware of in the lore that backs this but I can't help but feel as if the Kings' faces bear some very feminine features.

Anyone agree, or is this way off base?

Well, in truth we never really see Gwyndi's face, he wears that huge crown. He's also more monster-like than the Kings seem (even though you fight spectral sprites chances are excellent that they enjoyed a much more human-like appearance in their ruling days than what we run into when we fight them), Gwyndolin seems to even sport some reptilian qualities.

Apples and oranges comparison, IMO. Especially seeing as Gwyndolin has royal blood whilst the Kings rose to power via more proletarian means.

I hihgly doubt it...I mean...what would be the purpose to call them Kings if they were actualy Queens? From couldnt possibly gain something out of that...the lore state that the 4 Kings turned to the dark, so men they were...there can be no mistery to this....unless....no...NO! I wont be fooled again! The pendant is a lie!

Anyway, Gywndolin is a guy with tits, curvy body and tight ***. He makes so confused...

I thought it was similar to what happened to Manus and the people of Oolacile. Like reverse hollowing; instead of no humanity, they had too much of it.

I'm more curious about why they all look like identical statues. Also, why does the 4th one not even bother if you beat up enough on the first 3 (suicide?)? I believe I heard somewhere that a 5th will show up if you don't kill the 4 fast enough, as well. Waddupwitdat? And why were there four (or 3 or 5)kings of one little town?

It's more that they revive each other. There is a bonfire, and it is implied that they were once men, so they could have been darksigned. Once you kill all of them, they can no longer serve as bonfires for each other.

They're four liches that share a phylactery. Once you drain their health enough, the phylactery breaks.

Just be glad they didn't make them draco-lichs.

This is all I could think of when I read this thread.

I just finished an interesting um... multiple kings, shall we say, fight. I fouled up my equip burden trying to rearrange my whole setup to use a buff. So I had to fight those jerks fat rolling most of the fight -- it took a while to get an opening to change because I fell behind and kept having to chug. But, I went back to basics (2-handed moonlight GS R2 spam ) and managed to get down to the 4th, saw a 5th... and right before I was about to land the killshot I got hit from behind! Six of those effers!! I got 'em, though!

Back on topic; they do die kinda girlishly...

I was mocking them because of their feelings. They may be kings of New Londo, but they're definitely queens of drama.

It's obvious, Kaathe did them up like that for his own amusement. He is alone down there after all...
