EVENT: Path of the Dragon - March 9, 2013 7PM EST - PS3 + Xbox + PC

I have a question. It's my first time hosting; is there a recommended SL for hosts? I think I killed Quelaag on all my characters and am unsure whether to start a new one for hosting this event, or just take one of my higher-level ones and go to the next NG+. I guess the disadvantage of using a higher SL to host is that we might get more unexpected invaders.

Correct, but you can still participate by fighting.

Higher levels can summon lower levels, so you could roll a existing higher level toon to NG+ and host or you could take this an an opportunity to make a level 55 build for events so you can fight as well.

Dragon weapons are just for a little theme-bonus. You can use any build you want

My build design is done. I dub him, The Wet Suit Warrior(since he has chain mail.)
Also, he has Gauntlets of the Vanquisher. Since it's a requirement to handle the massive power of wielding 2 Drake Swords. 8)

Edit: Also, if I'm fighting a Dragon. I will ONLY be allowed to finish him with my Dragonslayer Bow. The strength of that weapon is the only thing capable of dealing the finishing blow.

I do have a backup build or 2, just in case I can't do the 0 poise, no armor, heavy strength weapon thing.

Well I am going as Beatrice, and maybe change up to my modified Beatrice. I also have my pyro knight from the last event I could bring back. I also have toxic gravelord and dual pinwheel. SO MANY CHOICES!!!

Sign me up. Though I'm not sure if i can make it cause of the starting time for me. I have sl50 ogs build ready, but not keen on using it cause I think most who use dragon weapons, will be using ogs. Got other sl55 toon that I might use and use some other dragon weapon.

How long do you think it will last? I won't be able to make it till 9pm :C

After Ceaseless Assault and considering that this event will have dragon theme, I would like to ban FinPeku from using Drake Sword.

I have a Priscilla's Dagger build at the ready

It's not upgraded with dragon scales, but I recommend the Dragon Crest Shield for anyone planning to use a medium shield.

They go for hours, there will still have plenty of people on at 9.

Ashamed as I am, I must admit that I don't know FinPeku. First time I heard about him/her was when I came here and still met each other only one, or two times.
