That's from Deadwood season 3, and is the fight between Dan Dority, one of my favorite characters in the show, and the Captain. It made my stomach turn the first time I watched it. Anything involving eyeballs like that tends to get me.

In case you haven't see the show, Dan's the one with the dark hair and beard BTW, he was the one I was rooting for. Basically what's happening is, the two guys on the balconies are pretty much heads of crime organizations who've been feuding, and the two guys fighting each other are basically the muscle for each of them, so their fight kinda represents a much bigger feud between their organizations. Oh and Dan is fighting for the guy with the darker hair. Swearengen. Whose probably the best character in the show.

Man, I hadn't seen it in awhile either. It's just as brutal the second time.

I couldn't find a version on Youtube without that stupid music. I'm pretty sure that wasn't in the original version

So....not to promote my Museum thread or anything but....

I posted this epic fight scene once before but it fits here pretty well too

Edit: I shall also have to find some Jackie Chan fights in their entirety. There's a few I'm thinking of that are amazing. Best action start ever in my (not ever) humble opinion

My wife read The Hobbit when she was younger, I on the other hand, didn't read any of the series. However, we seen all 3 movies in the theatre upon release.

When Gandalf fell into the chasm and grabbed his sword, I jumped out of my seat (along with 50 other people) and screamed YAAAAAAA!!! at the top of my lungs.

It was the best movie experience of my life. It was better than when my mother took me to see Return of the Jedi as a kid, and better than when me and a few friends got together to role play The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
