Ok...First Hacker.

So i was just in the Burg, doing some PvP. And i got invaded. I saw he had Dragon Tooth with Sunlight Blade buff and it was nothing special. He missed every swing.

I got a two hit on him and a Backstab. No damage...M'kay. Dodge a bit more and got another backstab...No damage *HACKER ALERT. HACKER ALERT*

Jumped away, Did the ''WELL! WHAT IS IT!'' Gesture and right before he ACTUALLY Hit me. I turned of the PS3. Reporting tomorrow.

I've had the same thing happen to me multiple times, as well as people indefinitely swinging like they're not losing stamina.

But I feel like this topic has popped up quite a few times before and it was always summed up as lag? Horrifying lag, to say the least.









Though I do remember when PtD came out on PC I saw someone Darkmoon Buff DSS.

...And just now I ran into a man using a DSS and swinging it like a katana. What.

Did it still do lightning damage or was it just some crazy-*ss graphic glitch??

So now they are spreading to the invaders now. Seems like the new things are weapon hacks, graphical glitches/hacks and the usual health hacks. You think if they hack health the rest is pointless. It's not like your going to get any good reactions from people.

It still did lightning damage.

And it wasn't a mod, but someone came in and buffed with power within and sunlight blade decked in full Havel, then just walked behind to BS and taunt.

I encountered my first hacker on PS3 recently as well.

They did something to prevent their health from draining, and I'm confident it wasn't lag nor negated-backstab-damage. I was a summoned phantom in co-op, and the connection appeared to be quite stable. We did several backstabs, various weapon slashes, pyromancy... couldn't kill the guy.

We were able to take the player's health down about half way initially, but it was then followed by a series of attacks where all of the hits that probably should've killed the player wound up doing nothing.

He was also wearing some Elite Cleric Armor. I didn't get his PSN, I was too distracted. He was already in the world of the host when I was summoned. If he wound up in recently met players, I wouldn't have known which one he would've been.

Are you certain it wasn't regular clerics? I started wearing that when I first bought it from Patches way back when the game started, as soon as the Elite clerics was found and spread across the net I began recieveing mail that I was " a hacking b**** who coudn't have won any other way" and the like.

The only person I've encountered was a lag swticher. I've never seen a real hacker. But, I'm positive about the lag switch.

I fought a person in the forest recently that I thought was lagging badly initially. Then I realized there was no way in hell it was lag, because the hits were registering too accurately. This person was like, teleporting, Some sort of ultra fast movement hack?

Same. I've had fights with lag so bad it might've been mistaken for hacks, but I don't think I've ever fought a hacker. I have fought a lag-switcher or two, though, I'm sure of that. The fight'd be going smoothly, I'd be owning him, and suddenly when he's low on health his character stops moving, the next instant I'm being backstabbed... I get up, roll away, his character stops moving, the next frame I'm being backstabbed. Ok, I see what's going on here...

No, this was at the very start of the match

Ehhh...I forgot. Hackers on PS3/Xbox is weak to Bleed? I've seen someone bleed out Hackers.
You can always kick 'em off a ledge but that's sorta hard in The burg when they also has WoG.

i bet we gonna see alot more of ps3 hackers. since a new ps3 mod got out last weekend :/

I've run into my own share of Lag Switchers and MAO users, but never an actual hacker.

I wonder how can they pull that off on PS3...

i dont see how infinite healt/stamina and a huge dmg increase would be any fun.
1hit eveyone in pvp, kill o&s in 1 hit. would get boring after 2min lol

lol you just gave him what he wanted. Next time, keep backstabbing. If he keeps missing, he'll get aggrevated and eventually leave.
