How to preform dead angling is not my specialty. I studied it but can't pull it off with most weapons. Claymore combos I do a lot about! PST time? Sorry Tiny that's way too late for me on weekdays. I got this weekend however.

Just came across this forum - been pvping for a bit but could use help with:

- Pivot cancel a backstab
- Dead angle with flamberge
- Toggle escape

System: PS3
Soul Level: 100 and 120

Won't be back on until Sunday afternoon but would appreciate any help!

Yes, you basically just pivot-BS your opponent when they are BS-ing you. It's probably the most common form of counter-BSing or BS cancelling.

It sometimes gives you the BS and you deliver the BS damage, and sometimes it will give your opponent the BS animation but you will fall down without taking any damage.

Its part of the ranking. So no Rewards but tips are encouraged

I know the theory behind most tactics and techniques, but fail at their execution. I guess that's not something you can help me with and I just have to PvP more.

Oh. That's not what I was thinking of. In Demon's Souls that was just called a double BS. Sometimes when I BS people, they'll cancel out of the animation entirely, it usually looks like they do this by pivoting around. That's what I thought pivot cancelling was, I figured people had found a way to do this consistently.

And in my experience the most common form of counter-BS'ing is to just stay locked on and circle behind them as they come at you for a BS.
