Question about Gwyndolin

I was just summoned in Anor Londo to help fight Dark Sun Gwyndolin. Upon entering the fog gate while as a phantom to help my summoner. A small scene took place. My phantom was shown touching the fog door before walking in like you normally would. Is there a specific reason why it showed that?

I'm also a Warrior of Sunlight.

I don't remember why but there are two separate animations for you and the host when fighting Gwyndolin.

I'm wondering since I helped kill him, if I'm gonna be hunted by Dark moon blades now. Dx

I don't think you will. The host will be hunted but a phantom I don't think so. I helped someone too but I was never hunted.

^ Also, if you're a Darkmoon while helping someone as a white phantom Gwyndolin calls you a traitor or something even if the host isn't a Darkmoon, but you won't get kicked out of the covenent.

Also, if you invade someone in Dark Anor Londo and don't have the Defeat Gwyndolin trophy, then there is a chance you'll get it. That's how I got mine. I got the trophy and souls and then got sent home. I think I also saw a cut scene, but I don't remember.

Really? Never noticed that! nice little detail I must say.

If you absolve your sins first you can confirm this little detail:

entering the boss fog as a phantom awards you a sin. So it permits darkmoons to hunt you until you absolve your sin.
