Invaded as DM blue phantom, popped out as a dark wraith once, and a white phantom another :roll:

Put a summon sign in the forest. You'll invade as a blue guy almost half of the time.

They same has happened to me multiple times. I have even used red eye orb to invade and came into summoners world as white phantom. That was really a wtf moment, lol!

That definitely has happened to me once. I had set down a white sign in Anor Londo, got summoned, and then rose up beside two Darkmoon Blades to combat a host and two phantoms. It was rather surreal, but very awesome.

I still dont get summoning, Ive been playing almost a full month and I still have issues with all the different phantom colours and actual summoning/coop mechanics, wish there was a guide! The one on the wiki is pretty poo...

I put my white sign down just outside the church, before the steps down to the blacksmith in the undead burg and the same happened to me. Invaded a guy who was trying to summon me. Ended up losing a 2 on 1 fight sadly as he'd already summoned another phantom for the boss run. This is the only place it has happened to me so far though in over 300 hours of play, I would say. I'm very inexperienced PVP, so I cant comment massively, on why this happens. Would love to know more.

Same thing happened to me in New Londo. I helped co-op 4 kings twice earlier when the host died both times, the third time he summoned me and I popped up red. We were both really confused when the other white phantom just started going after me (I was just going to black crystal out of there). So I killed the phantom and took made the host chug all of his estus. It was actually a pretty fun battle...

Yeah this happens alot. I had one recently in the burg where I got invaded by someone as a red phantom. Later on, I triggered a summoning sign for my friend, and instead of him appearing, the prior invader appeared as a white phantom. He didn't even appear where I was or where the sign was, he appeared up where the dwraiths usually arrive next to the bonfire (I was down near the 2 spearmen). He took it in stride and even hung around for a while, lol
