    Very true, you make a good point. Still I think its an interesting concept. Almost like the implementation of whips in DS1

    What about this; make a boomerang or a chakram a useable weapon. They do low damage, have low poise damage but can do a melee strike and be thrown. They could have auxiliary effects like bleed or something. Give them a medium effective range so they aren't overpowered and you can't aim them they have to be used with lock on. Add some class and make it so if you use 2 of them you get a special moveset. Have them scale in dexterity and make the chakram inflict bleed.

    Since players can deflect projectiles in DkS2, boomerangs might actually be in the game. It's exciting and it could happen. =3

    They should be useless for dmg but they should still help i dont play casters so i would like to have some type of range other then a bow loved the firebombs and throwing knifes but they did so little dmg that they became useless after the undead church

    A boomerang doesn't fly back at you if you hit.

    And i think real australian hunting boomerangs are too heavy to come back to you regardless

    Sometimes they don't come back when you miss, but that's probably because I'm a noob at boomerang throwing. lol!

    i'd just like the secret throwing knives from demons souls to come back, and to scale with dex, oh and a bola weapon would be cool or maybe slingstones, but really those'd just end up like crossbows, only used by a few people...

    ^ Secret daggers already do enough damage. They don't need to scale with anything.

    Nay. its all in the shape. Think about how aeroplanes fly. Sure it isnt going to come right back to your hand and wont come back if you hit something but it wouldnt need to come back if you hit something. You then run in grab the boomerang and bash the poor kangaroo's brain out or whatever.
