That's right. A dagger build. Obviously, it's going to have a buff and supporting miracles, but it is going to be very, very aggressive. Because dagger. Yeah.

Force may or may not be substituted for TWoP.

Hypothetically speaking, how effective would this be?
If my variation sucks (which is likely), how would you improve it?

If I'm using daggers, I would have no problem replacing the ring of favor and protection with the hornet ring. That aside, the build looks good. No wasted points, besides the one to stamina which you don't need, by the way, but the thing is ugly without nice, round numbers, right?

I like having at least 160 points of stamina. As a DeS vet, I was weaned on 160 points. Also, I took the liberty of not having hornet ring because not only the point of the buff is DPS, but to reduce the temptation to go for the backstab immediately. I get off a lot more damage when I'm hitting someone over and over again, rather than just stabbing them in the back.

Fair enough. I am a noob with build making, so I don't know much besides the ring buffs and thought I'd add that in. Also, isn't parry-damage counted as critical as well? Or is that the exclusive domain of the leo ring?

Ripostes and backstabs are both criticals.

Another note, the FaP ring boosts health, stamina, and equip burden. So if I remove it, I have to put more points into endurance. Also, I consider the FaP ring to be a humongous, if not invaluable, boon for melee builds.

    Which this is.

Really? I tend to avoid it just for the sake of having an extra ring slot to use one of the knight rings, stoneplates, bite rings etc.

I'm also trying to wean myself off of the FaP ring, but it's so hard cuz the ring is so damn convenient. lol!

I had to quit it when I did the boxing run, since versatility was an absolute must. It's not that hard after things like that sort of run. Just go cold turkey with a new build.

Good build. I have enjoyed terrorizing ng+ with a +14 dagger. I have up until recently avoided the FaP ring because it sucks up a ring slot but as long as I'm doing PvP it's cool. Now I have to go make some more daggers! I think I'll do some 2 handed dagger Forest hunting!

Daggers have a lot of potential. They just need to be used right.

If I was using a dagger build it would be impossible to resist the temptation of equipping hornet ring and just bs fishing.
