SL100 Tracer Build

The only thing I can think of to add would be some additional poise. The GT is a really aggressive weapon that shines when going toe to toe with an opponent and with only 31 poise I could see you suffering against others who have 53+ poise. Also I think it would make landing parries for the ST a whole lot easier.

As stated by the first response, you need more poise. 51+ poise lets you take a hit from an ultra, which you'll need if you plan on being able to actually attack. 53+ poise will let you tank a Black Flame.

Black flame is like 60 poise 53 is 2H attacks from greatswords (clay msgs...not THE greatsword which is an ultra....whatever)

youCan squeeze a little more poise out of your armor, which I'd recomend. I also honestly don't think the DST at 40 Dex needs the hornet's ring, that thing will be hitting PLENTY hard on crits as it is.

Need 62 poise to tank Black Flame. It's a popular parry punisher so something to think about if you plan on relying on DST ripostes.

I don't think it's possible to use anything but Havel's and maintain 53 poise. Unless I was willing to give up the shield or something, then there's a small possibility.

I Also was only able to get 76 poise... I kept looking for a way to get the 77 you'd have with 3giants but.... well no dice.

Xenon's set has slightly better physical defence while mine has better magic resists.

Personally I think the Onion helm looks cooler than anything. But you might like horns.

At first glance I'd personally change the weapons around so that the gold tracer is in the left and the pyromancy flame is in the right.

Low poise might kill you.

Thanks for the help Jansports and xenon, those look great! I'll probably go with one of those which have the 76 poise, dingy(higher mag), and high vit.

Target shield imo isnt worth the weight. Dropped the Iron top because it is just too heavy. Vit Pumping isnt worth it if you can fast roll. The build can buffed with more attunement and get pursuers if you want.

But both Tracers are unbuffable, heavy investment into INT or FAI for spells isn't really a concern of a build to use the Tracer weapons.

Why give up 76 poise fast roll 1800hp?

there's a justification for just about anything but i'd just say never ever go below 31 poise, even when ninja flipping. with the tracer build you want to get as many hits in as quickly as possible. being able to simply tank the first ultra weapon swing will give you enough time to stagger 76+ poise (unless they're really stacking) and 4gold tracer hits + bleedout are usually GG. 76poise is usually just the icing on the fast rolling cake, but there is no reason not to have it with a pure dexer

I have a new version. It allows for another ring slot, but has reduced hp by about 300 and slightly lower defenses. Looks much cooler though, and leaves open some fun options. May be useful against the gankers I'll be expectedly facing as a forest hunter, to have this ring slot open.
