Okay I think a samurai would wear a wander set mix with a chaos blade and maybe an uchi. Two hand the chaos and dual wield when facing more people? Havel ring and east wood grain ring.

I've heard Patches pushes you off in the Catacombs, but it's never happened to me.
He's pushed me off in the Tomb of the Giants though, am I just lucky?

Patches doesn't push you off himself, he activates a bridge switch while you're on the bridge. He also possess the ability to switch between games at will to collect as many trinkets as possible making him the most powerful character in the game

Yeh I was talking about the catacombs since you or someone else said they'd never met him in the catacombs. It only happens if you go down early in the game though.
