I lost motivation for Dark souls for a while and am trying to get it back by creating a Leeroy character that is able to help people through the tomb of the giants, because it was the hardest place for me. I always have a hard time against the bone dog thingys (Patent Pending) so I was looking for strategies to help with them and also for what SL should I aim for? What's the consensus? Cheers.

If players go with the wiki path, you should aim for 70 i think. You need high strength to wield Grant anyways. And the light spell comes in handy for a real cosplay.
