Brony Question

I've been trying to talk about this with someone for a long time but never felt I would get where I'd need to be.

However, this place has shown me a bit of love and there seem to be a large number of bronies here so I guess it couldn't hurt too much to ask.

I LOVE My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. I love pretty much everything it stands for and I admire the hell out of what the brony fan base can be.

But despite all that I've never been comfortable calling myself a Brony.
I won't get into why but it has to do with me personally.

The reason I am posting this thread is because I'm tired of simply asking
myself what I think a Brony should be, so I want a few fresh perspectives.

So forum, what do you think defines a brony or what makes a good one?

There is no formula to follow in order to be a "good" Brony.

Just enjoy it as you will and don't worry too much about doing it right.

Why call yourself a Brony? Why try to be a "good" Brony? Why not just be a fan of the show and leave it at that?
