So while invading as a darkwraith in the forest I came across an item, and having once before picked up 20 gwyn's souls, I picked it up. Sure, it could have easily been a trap but hey, what do I have to lose if the host snipes me with a great arrow or soul spear? I might even pick up a dung pie or two.
Anyway, the item turned out to be about ten arrows, that were identical to standard arrows except their name was "?WeaponName?" and their AR was something like 120(compared to standard's 45, feather's 50, and large's 60). Needless to say, I blanched at the idea of these things even existing(I'm getting tired of coming across those crystal greatswords that somehow one-shot me at 1123hp) but curious as I am to how arrow AR affects eventual damage, I decided to try them out, pve only.
With my 40/40 build and +15 composite bow, the arrows did about an extra 130 or so damage on NG+ oolacile citizens and humanity people. Pretty mean. That would roughly be an extra 100 damage on actual players, by my guestimation, which is a scary prospect considering I already wreck(to a degree) people with my comp bow, especially with counter damage boost or with my red tearstone activated.
Well, I just felt like people should know this sort of thing is out there, thankfully not too many hackers use bows in my experience.
