    This is slightly a rant.

I got chivalry: medieval warfare on this past wednesday. I suck right now, no thanks to my crappy laptop that can barely keep the framerate up on the lowest settings during a duel, of all modes.

That's besides the point. My point is, besides a few shining knights who help sucky players like I by offering advice(thanks A Little Blind Boy), the community is pretty bad.

Like, there are some @#!*% who just flood the chat with childish terminology and it's annoying; however they get banned. Others are just shmucks who always blame their loss on lag or cheap tactics and are always angry. Then there are those who are just a real special gem.

I was in a LST match, and i died horribly and decided to joke about it, saying, "Christ, it's been 5 days and I still can't get the parries right." Some @#!*% who I've met before tells me to go to the other team. I say, "Make me." He initiates a vote ban on me, and it gets 80% yes. The prick said that I had attempted to team kill, which as utter bull. But oh well. The server was full of whiny pricks anyway.

Any other experiences like this? Also, anyone else play Chivalry? add me on steam, EeAyEss

I always remember probably one of the worst examples of a chat I've seen was on the MMO Star Wars The Old Republic, on the Sith side of one server. The chat was just people constantly insulting people, saying everyone should go kill themselves, basically the people who spoke were all trolls. Whenever anyone would ask why no one is helpful they'd say, "We're Sith, we're supposed to be evil." I get that there will be trolls, but this was a case where there where trolls were around 80% of the population.

Why do you think Dark Souls has no voice chat?

This is honestly the best game community I have ever been in. Then again, I had a decent understanding of Dark Souls when I joined, as I had been playing since release, and as you can tell by my join date... I knew quite a bit by then.

The only multiplayer games where I've legitimately had next to zero problems with people are Final Fantasy IX, XIV, Mount and Blade series, Demon's Souls, Total War series and Arma II + III.

But then again I could just be lucky having run into all the friendly and helpful people on the internet being clumped into these games. Heh.

Most likely. Every game fanbase has its good and bad sides.
