Then there's a couple normal halberds, and no Lucernes.
There's magic out the wazoo on the Xbox version of Dark Souls.

They have a very slightly different moveset. The Scimitar has a much more pleasing 2h r1 than the falchion, for me, anyway. They are different, and the AR difference between them is so minimal at 40 dex, it comes down to about 5-10 AR. The weight tends to be more important in my builds anyway. And the way you play with a weapon is far more important than the amount of damage you can do.
