What the hell is this game going to...

PvP is dead in whole, I just invaded Burg to be greeted by 3 full giant's, dusk crown wearing dark bead spammers. PvP, is dead, a solemn moment for the dead ;_;

I'm on PS3, and PvP is active, with many good fights.

I was getting really good fights, until these assholes showed up, now I'm fighting in townshit.

One of them blocks the bridge, the other blocks the exit out the front of the stairs, it's impossible.

You can't, one blocks the stairs, the other blocks the bridge. I left burg anyway.

Which is why I never go to common pvp spots, except for the Kiln. Much too many people ready to jump you or do something cheap.

On X360, there is a large amount of d*ckheads like that, yeah. However there can be the occasional gem of awesomeness like the hacker who gave me 20 souls of artorious, or the random nice guy who gave me a +15 uchigatana.

I fear its just the forest for X360. Burg has regular nice guys in my experience.

I honestly don't count the forest. That is kind of the one spot where there is no rules. If you are going there you don't expect fairness, honor and chivalry. It is a given that every cheap ploy in the book will be used there. It is places like in the Burg that you get blind with rage when someone does some stupid tactic like spawn-killing and ganking. You expect a 1v1, not a gank by tanky mages.

Fair enough point, the forest is meant to be "anything goes" so I shouldn't complain about it.

I must say Burg on X360, I have only had one bad player so far. The problem is everyone in burg is just so damned good at PvP and I'm not :'(

In that case, the burg is exactly where you should be. Study their tactics and try employing them yourself. Obviously they wont all work for you, but some may, and with time and practice, you will become a better player.

PvP isn't dead just because you found one group of jerks.

All it means is that the burg is no longer the best place to duel, there are usually a few people who duel but a lot of the time there are gankers or other kinds of people in the burg.

If you want fairness, the burg is just not the place to be. On my adventures, the Kiln and Ariamus have provided me with the most exhilarating battles.

Eh, I'm finding a little less activity in the spots that I normally invade in but that's really it.

I'd just advise going to a different area or waiting for a bit. It's not like the whole entire PVP community are gankers and hackers.

In my experience

Forest: anything goes

Burg: 1v1 strictly, but whatever the hell you like. Dark bead, spam golden tracer etc.

I've yet to actually get to Kiln ^_^

Kiln is same as the Burg, but more intense at times. Also less gankers(at least in my experience.)

Think I'm gonna practice in Burg then, I'm really sub-par.

I used to do bits of PvP in the area before the centipede demon but I have found this a little inactive recently.
It used to be one of the better zones with near to zero gankers and most people not poise stacking.

Moonlight forest anyone? I actually get some good activity there.
