SL23 - Help with Gwyn (xbox) - RESOLVED

Set a goal for myself to beat the game under SL25 and I've done it up till Gwyn.  Dozens and dozens of attempts, but I get smashed each time.  If anyone can help I'd REALLY appreciate it!  GT is The 23 Freak

Soul of Gwyndolin, Sif, Smough, Iron Golem, and Moonlight Butterfly

I don't have anyone at that SL. Mind giving us the build? Since I can't help in-game maybe I can give some pointers. I know Gwyn can be a hassle.

I've actually made progress.  I've managed to parry and riposte him up to 4 times which brought him to 50%.  What info do you need when you ask for my build?

Level apportionment, gear, basically that.

Using +5 lightning washing pole and trying out a few different armors.
using +10 grass shield
using ring of favor & prot, and hornets ring

Washing Pole really isn't great for criticals if you're going for the parry/riposte strategy.

Got a suggestion that doesn't involve me leveling up any more?  I have every weapon available.

Well, the Rapier would be the obvious choice.

Sorry, didn't know how. 

It was a fluke that I got help.  I was just standing around at the entrance to the Kiln while chatting on this site when I got invaded.  Caught me off guard and got killed instantly.  I msg'ed my invader and asked for help to which he promptly replied and laid down a summon.  Now I'm on NG at SL23!!   Next challenge....  SL1!
