Mine is dual swordsman because I like dual wielding, and it looks bad-***.

So far, I would go with the temple knight. I like to combine up-close-and-personal techniques, with faith. Mostly to protect myself against magic.

Sorcerer for sure.
If not for all the amazing new spells, but for how amazing that armour looks.

Sorcerer all the way. The prospect of combining the fire element back into spells like in Demon's Souls is super exciting, and the idea of "melee combat" spells like that sword swipe opens up so many opportunities. Definitely looks like us mages won't be stuck with spamming soul arrows again
I will say though, the Dual-wielder looks like it has potential, but outside of maybe one attack in the video it didn't seem that different from what we're used to now.

If you say anything other than temple knight, you're in denial. That looks like the most badass armor set in Souls history.

If that's the case I guess we select our preferred weapon's and armour in the tutorial area? I'm not a huge fan of that in all honesty. /shrug.

no you pick your stats and the game assigns you a class based on those stats.
I like all the classes, but will probably go with the temple knight. dual wield seems like fun, but I know when the going gets tough, I'll be resorting to a my shield/halberd techniques.

So classes are still there, well that's a relief. It just sounds like they've streamlined it so you can min/max in certain stats.

Well kind of, it sounds like you still kind of get a starting class set(armor, weapons, ext). It's just possible you might be able to choose your starting stats.
Edit: Also, it's too early for me to pick a class. I will probably do my first playthrough as a 16/30 with some magic or faith. Sorcerer looked really cool though, like the new spells and I haven't been a big mage player.

Well i am always sorcerer all the way mostly because i like playing with a character a bit like me. I am more prone to solving problems with my mind than physical violence so all spellcasters fit my playstyle more. i would like to point out that these do not seem to be starting classes but builds that have been created to be fun to play with.

Now that they updated dual-wielding, it's going to be pretty awesome.
Can't wait for the game.

Dual Swordsman for me.
I don't really care about dual wielding...at least until I try it out. But he has awesome looking gear. Exactly the type I like, so I vote for this class just because of aesthetics.
