Medieval Flails?

Okay I know this has been brought up before, but I would really like to see flails in dark suols 2.

I'm not talking about the traditional flails that you see in movies either. I'm talking about something like this

I completely agree in fact I would like to see chain weapons in general, flails, kusarigama, broken staffs, sword chucks that kinda stuff

I'd definitely use this.

It would have to have a very unpredictable moveset though

yeah. Peasants flail is awesome.

It's a good concept but it would be hard to do. Flails in general are unpredictable wen swung and has no specific moveset. They'd have to make an algorithm to predict the "flight path" so to speak. Not saying it can't happen just unlikely unless they make it like a mace or something

It wouldnt be anything like a whip. The one I posted in the picture would not. It is a 2 handed pole weapon

A flail would have the same properties of a whip in a way.

But still, would be great to see in game.

I think it could work, it just needs the right moveset. It'd be like a heavier, more sluggish/damaging version of the whip, add bleed and it could be a pretty versatile weapon!
