Best weapon and armor for stats

Hi I am still an amateur when it comes to selecting the best armor and weapon for my stats. my stats are:
level 182
vitality 44
attunement 23
endurance 51
strength 20
dexterity 22
resistance 11
intelligence 75
faith 18

Just want to know whats the best armor and weapon i can use for this build and if I should put souls into another stat for better results. I am doing more pvp now so any advice is welcomed. Thanks

Moonlight Greatsword or Moonlight Butterfly Horn.

At that level you're past what people would normally make for a "build" (aka a character for a specific purpose such as invading or cooperative play). As such.....what I recommend is to keep leveling up the dex and strength stats, play around with a bunch of weapons and see what you like. Same advice for armor.....spells.....everything.

Just use this to learn more about yourself and your preferences. For example, very few people use Priscilla's dagger let alone call it the "best" for their stats. For me, it's quite effective and is one of the top three weapons choices for my play style going against other players.

Learning about you is what will really make the game shine.

yeah im using the moonlight great sword but its not that good for pvp I find, when im fighting someone once they start hitting me with their weapon i cant do anything cause their weapon is too fast and knocks me back all the time

Do you have poise?

no i have no poise, which is why i was wondering what armor i could wear that would give me poise but still be able to roll fast and give me good resistance, I am willing to mix and match armor sets to give me the boosts i need and recently i boosted my dex to 31

This is by no means optimal as I don't much care to be a build Nazi but here is a fast rolling,magic based build with 54 poise and high magic resistance.

I left the magic slots open so you can just put in whatever you like to use,the rapier can be swapped for a talisman if needed.

thanks for that, i would use it but i dont have the hat or the robe which sucks, maybe in NG++ i can try it, just going through the archives right now and that *** crystal guy at the end of that walk way is killing the **** out of me, he is so much stronger then the rest

Go with what skarekrow13 post said it is really helpful, and the poise numbers u wanna try aiming for are 56 or if u want to be more safe try 76 i think its the best poise u can have if you are just starting pvp also 62 poise works.

- You can take any weapon hit except the 2h UGS/Great Axes/Great Hammers
- As much physical defense as you could hope for
- Use MLGS, menu swap to butterfly horn or an elemental (vs magic barriers) as needed

You stat distribution is unfortunate to say the least however.  You could do it so much more efficiently.  For example:

This is a 120, and it's arguably stronger (note: you can use this armor combo instead of above to take 1 black flame w/o stagger, at the price of some defense).

After all the nerfs mother mask is the strongest mask haha.
