I finished this amazing game tonight. It's challenging to say the least; fans of Dark Souls should enjoy it thoroughly. It's a 2D action-adventure platformer, rife with enemies, loot and lots of exploration. You'll often find yourself being bombarded with enemy projectiles, sometimes narrowly avoiding getting hit, other times taking the full brunt of an assault.

The character dynamic is interesting too: each character has it's specific traits, which can either be beneficial or a hinderance. Stuff like IBS, Near-Sightedness, Tourette's, and more.

If you haven't played this game, I highly recommend it. If you have, talk about your experience with it. I had a blast with it, and felt really satisfied upon completion. Now, I'm currently delving into NG+

Wish me luck on that. tongue

I'm VERY interested in trying this game out, but with my back-log already as full as it is I cannot find the time to squeeze it in just yet, but, when I do get through some of these other games I'll definitely look into it.

Loved this one. When I first died in the castle, I was like: "ok now to respawn and keep going, wait, choose your children? what? haha" It took me some time to understand the game mechanics and to level up, but I managed to finish it after killing 4 or 5 generations silly

NG+ is very challenging, you'll find end game enemies in the castle door lol

I ended up going through 67 kids before I finished the game. Haha.

That does look cool. Looks right up my alley. Kinda Castlevania-esque. Thanks. I'd never heard of it before I stumbled in here.

I can second that this game is pure gold happy
The traits system is funny and creative + the challenge is definitely there, for the people who appreciate the old school difficulty in games.
