There's already a lot of cool stuff up and Fex has made sure everything looks top notch.

Ok. I created a post. It is pending review. But, how do I add a picture to it?

I'll have to add the pictures for now since we have some copyright to worry about xD, you can link me an imgur.com on the text if it is your own or I can check copyright of any link before we post it. I can also make you a little graphic like the one on Skare's Plus Reviews if you'd like

A little graphic would be cool.

Also, I created a post, but it is pending approval. Is that something you have to do with all posts?

for the publish to front page ones yes. it's to ensure no repeats etc - sort of like submitting to an editor in a magazine

I get it. How do I just publish a post, or do they all go to the front page?

You can have your own forums on the group you created, everything else that's submitted goes to frontpage for now since we aren't big enough for mini stuff

When everyone learns the basics of editing and all that we can have more authors that don't need to wait in queue. That said, I'll post your article within the next hour - had to make lunch :p

Awesome site, Fex  I love the fact that our community can come closer by writing articles and commenting on them, and they'll just be about common interests we have as gamers, anime watchers, and even homebrewers.

But I can't find a way on the site to become a writer. I'm not particularly amazing (Math is my thing), but ChaosSpectre is, so I'm trying to figure it out for him. Do we just contact you with our registered account or is there a specific trail we follow on the site?


EDIT: Also, I need to change my  name. I didn't notice that "Name" meant what everyone was going to see. I used my real name. I thought people would see it when they looked at my account, not when they saw my comments D:

On the site, once you register you have the option to send PMs, so simply send me a note asking to become a contributor and I'll change the settings of the account involved so that they can create articles too
