Getting my PS3 Online .

I have a normal Desktop PC, i go to the Internet with an Internet Stick .
My PS3 cannot find said Internet Stick, doesn't matter what i do .

So is there any way to get my PS3 Online with just an Internet Stick and a Desktop PC ?
Can i somehow link my PS3 to my PC to get it Online somehow ?

Oh, how was it... Hmm, I think connect via ethernet cable and allow for sharing via computer...

Google 'turn PC into hotspot', follow instructions to set up a computer to computer network and then it should work

I don't really remember, and I can not check on my PC due to my latest not having one... I think you can go and allow for local sharing between the computer and you PS3...

Use a wireless router. That's what I do. And it has always worked for me.

Yeah, a Router would be nice, but they cost around 50 bucks here >_>

 You'll need a crossover cable not a standard Ethernet cable. They're dearer and not even sure will they work on a ps3 let alone share a network.

It's not complicated... have you done even a single google search?  Basically, get your PC interenet on, create a new network (might need to enable sharing), disable your firewall on the PC, plug in the PS3 to your PC, restart the internet and you're done.  I've linked a bunch of stuff below that I got by doing the google search I told you to do in the first place.

Don't just assume things, aceluby .

I've done several Google Searches, i've been trying everything for 4 Hours straight last night .
In fact those very links came up in my searches .

Turns out that my PC doesn't even have a W-Lan Card so turning my PC into a Hotspot with console command is a no-no.
A crossover cable also didn't work and my Stick isn't a Router .

There is one last thing i could try before buying a thing, getting my Laptop online .
Maybe that thing has a W-Lan Card .

So i guess this Thread can be locked then .
