Avelyn Upgrade

sorry if it repost

my stat
16 STR
40 DEX
30 FAITH

what is best upgrade for my Avelyn
according to dark souls calculator
+10 Divine Avelyn with Lightning bolt is highest damage but it split for 3 type of damage
so im thinking with Lightning Avelyn

+15 heavy Bolt or +5 Lightning with Lightning Bolt

reg in high slow lvl? why? i think thunder avelyn outdamages the reg ones

lightning bolts are so expensive so prepare to invest toons of souls in bolts

I don't get the high price of Lightning Bolts. Heavy Bolts cause more damage than Lightning Bolts, but they're only 100 souls apiece whereas Lightning Bolts are 700 souls apiece.

I have a Heavy Fire Crossbow+10 so maybe the crossbow used makes a difference?

i'd say upgrade the normal path. as with shields, elemental upgrades don't change the damage unless you hit someone with the avelyn itself, and it removes the scaling. i forget how well it scales, but still...
