The Do's and Don'ts?!

Ah yes, the old 'what's honorable' discussion.

It's quite simple, really. If you're participating in a FC or something like that, then there are rules. Other than that?

Yeah, someone invades me because I 'dared' to be human (since it affects game mechanics)? No rules, I will do everything in my power to kill you. Cheap, dirty, expensive, honorable, whatever. You come into my world, uninvited, and I'm supposed to treat you like a guest? Yeah, sorry, I have a problem with someone breaking into my house and being criticized for not offering them a drink too.

I don't invade. Ever.

To each their own. I personally don't feel the need to bow, or have someone else bow when they invade me. They've already broken the rules regarding courtesy - by virtue of invading my game uninvited - and sorry, 'being human' isn't an explicit invitation.

For me, it's the Golden rule. I don't invade you, don't invade me (unless I ask!).

@OP i bow, if i'm at a safe distance, and rephrain from healing unless my opponent does.

But thats duels, as in i'm in the burg, kiln, or btown dueling people in the respective arenas.

Outside duels, You're there to screw me, or you probably make a habit of screwing people who didn't ask for it, so i win however is necessary. If that means i kick you into lava or trap you on a ledge/ in a small room and wog you to death, so be it.

I still bow after, and never send hatemail.

If Invaders are out to ruin your day feel free to ruin theirs instead.

I kind of feel like being that guy who promotes things in topics they don't belong in.

Another don't, if you're losing a fight don't force a DC. That is like, the lamest of the lamest of the lame.

see not that i disagree with what anyones saying but this is the kind of stuff that can make this game just be a rage a thon. if you choose to play online then be prepared to have pretty much every cheap thing happen to you at some point. i dont think this means pvp will suck i think it just means you have to take it less serious. its fun to bow before a fight and have a code of honor but dont always expect the same respect from others. mainly just have a build that doesnt suck(a dedicated build for pvp) and try to have fun. i say maybe talk to someone here who is confident in their skills and have them teach you to avoid/pull off backstabs. when you get to the point where your blaming lag for every death your not going to have any fun.

Sums up how i feel very well.

i had a funny invasion yesterday that i honestly just didnt understand the invaders tatics. i was just fooling around trying out weapons(werent even fully upgraded) and i get invaded in dukes. after only about 30sec i get invaded again, so i have 2 invaders and im just standing in dukes waiting. one invader runs down and runs past me as i bow and goes and hides with all the crystal golems....i then see the other invader who starts to try and lure me up to where there was more crystal soldiers and a channler. i did not have a summon i was there solo and both these guys are trying to bait me into getting beat by mobs..... i just sat there for a good 30min waiting for them to finally man up, nothing. ended up just quiting via the ps3 controller. got rage messages lol.

I've had this happen in Dukes before. It was the only time I quit via the XMB, guy just refused to fight.
