You could backstab and riposte him in the pre-release build, but the feature was removed for the final build. There's a video somewhere from a demo where he's being backstabbed.

The normal height of an enemy means that when you riposte them with a morningstar you smash it into their stomach to start, but if you do it on a silver knight you end up using it (note that it is a spiked ball) to smash them in the crotch, it looks rather painful :S
