Yeah, this would be nice, but then people would be running around with 0 stats they don't need and completely stacking their mains, I feel it's more of a balancing act.

Nah, it would just leave you with a max HP of 1 for the perfect challenge run scenario
On topic, I'm all for the idea of being able to reallocate stats, just not below their base values. If you put a point in DEX that you end up not needing, then you should be able to change that to something you could actually use such as Vit or End through some sort of costly process similar to the way absolving sins works. We can't allow too much perfection with going into 0 stats, because then builds would be cut and dry as opposed to dynamic according to the player, and starting class would literally have no purpose.

No purpose? I need that extra cast of soul spear! To that end I actually exclusively start out as a Thief so I can always start off with a pendant haha. I do have to say I would love to rework my FC toon, I'm so tired of Faith.
