A question of mine is how seamless would the transition be? Would we all have to recreate threads, create new accounts, etc. Or would it literally just chance the url at the top we see and that's it?

As far as I know, nothing chances for us, we simply get redirected to new domain with all our content.
It really is a nice-to-have so I'm polling the interest in eliminating the "forumsrpg" from the domain name.
