Four Kings help wanted: PSN, SL10 (high range), NG+

I'm asking for help for the Four Kings on NG+. I'm SL10 so I'm looking for people at the high end of the soul range to help.

NG, the Four Kings were ridiciously easy. NG+, they kill my party with ease.

I had one guy tell me not to summon Witch Beatrice during NG+ because it makes the Four Kings stronger. Can someone confirm this?

Stronger as in she's useless to you other than a damage sponge? Then yes.

I tried again yesterday morning and with two humans using Power Within we almost killed them.

Is anyone up for the challenge? We could try over the weekend. :-)

I have a lvl 9 char with 583 hp, 1 attunement slot and Lifehunt Scythe being the only real weapon, for spreading the word of Kaathe, of course.

I can join and see how many attacks I can dodge before I die, but only if no one else wants to take the place.

Is it possible to summon someone who hasn't yet unlocked the lord areas? If it is I'd love to try. I could make a character, run through to Sif for the ring in probably an hour or two.

Thanks, guys. This is a tough fight, but I'm out of humanity. I'm currently farming baby skeletons to stock up and try again.

I'm convinced Power Within is the way to go against the Four Kings. The only down side is the Transcient Curse won't allow PW or green blossom use. I've tried using the jagged ghost blade +5 to kill the ghosts and I have the Chancellor's Trident+5 which I haven't tried yet on the party when I'm the host.

Simply skip all opponents, you can run through using the regular shortcut or use a safer one (don't jump down to the DW, instead, go to the house with the 9000 ghosts, go downstairs and jump down, you will be right in front of the entrance to the four kings and not a single tear of blood has been dropped). Makes Transcient Curse redundant, speeds up frequency of tries.

@plastic, I know for sure you can be summoned even if you haven't drained New Londo in your world. I'm not 100% sure if you have to have the lordvessel, but I don't see why you would need it.

@green, after you go through the boss fog, you can just wait on the stairs until transient curse wears off so you can cast power within when you drop into the Abyss.

sl10 on ng+ ...hats of to you sir for that, just get a crest shield +5 dont use powerwithin its a health drain you dont need, if you have the stats to use ricards rapier id recomend that +5 chaos with ten humanity 2 2h r2 will kill one king just make sure you dont get hit while doing it

@fear: Waiting for the curse to wear off, especially with 2 humans with me is not something I want to put my help through. The curse lasts for 5 minutes. I have been using the curse before I summon my help and I can usually time it so the curse wears off before we enter the fog gate.

@his: As to using the longer shortcut, I followed a host who did this. I thought he didn't know about the shorter short-cut. I didn't jump off to follow him, I took the elevator. However, you still need the curse taking the longer shortcut, right? You have a lot of ghosts to fight before reaching the "house of 9000 ghosts".

Don't take the elevator. As you meet the third and fourth ghost, jump down and climb up the ladder you kicked when you visxited this place the first time. Then you can walk to the house and jump down to the four kings without having fought anything.
