Remember that you need two things to happen
1) A sinner in the area you're invading
2) A player w/in summoning range or lower
Therefore I almost always go to places where people are around my SL or lower for invasions to maximize the # of people you can invade. I've had some luck in the forest and Dukes and also combine it w/ the DM ring to maximize the # of possible invasions.

hey dark, i have one toon in dm cov. all depends where you are trying to invade with it and what level your at.
i found the kiln at 100 to 120 i would get 9 out of ten invades. the trick is you do not want to be human!!! if your hollow there is no interference with someone trying to connect to you! it seems that an invasion will cancel your attempt at invading, just as it does with a summon sign youve placed.
had luck in the archives, anor londo, painted world as well. also tested out catacombs and tomb. worked a few times but i would b/c out cuz i hate getting vaded there!. but kiln was best so far. but again dont be human form. give it a try, hope this helps.
