When you use the ring to invade dark anor the person you invade could be lvl 1...or 700 and anywhere inbetween the blue eye however is just like the red eye for darkwraiths you invade same level and up.

Here's how the orb works.
Searches for guilty players, within your SL 10% upwards, or +10, whichever is the highest number, and anyone any level below you. It connects you to whoever is the nearest SL.
Your ring has no SL range, so you can invade anyone, but it connects you to whoever is available closest to your SL.
You should check out the Darkmoon thread, there is a link to it from the Resources thread. If you have any questions about Darkmoons Forum Pirate will have the answer.

well ive tried it pretty much everywhere but ive only invaded like 4 or 5 people outside of the forest(always find em here but id like some 1v1 at some point) as for soul lvl one of em is like....around 80 i think...and the other is a few lvls under 120.

Kiln, Painted World, and the Burg are big PvP hot spots at those levels.

If you are going to invade PW with your SL 80 can you check for me if you can get many invasions? Also tell me what kind of players you get, duelists, farmers, gankers or newbies just trying to escape the PW. Thanks in advance.

Well i just tried and was only able to invade one guy(its 4:30 am here mind you) when i ran up on him he was at start and had those 3 hollows attacking him so i nicely waited till he killed them then i bowed(he didnt bow back not that i care) and i was kicking his *** he had about one hit left the lagstabbed me twice and i died. he was clearly a ganker...ill test it out some more later.

You can use it anywhere you can use your white soapstone. if you have it equiped it will be grayed out when you cant use it and yes you can use it in the forest good fun and quickest place to find the guilty.
