Your favorite pvp build

This is basically just a post where you can tell people your favorite pvp build.

My favorite is Giants armor with the mask of the mother and greatshield of artorias. My rings are havels ring and the ring of favor and protection. My weapons are greatlord greatsword as primary and the crystal catalist as secondary. For my spells I have the crystal and regular souls mass, soul spear, and wrath of gods. I am a darkwraith which means I love to invade people. I mainly focus on vitality, intelligence, endurance, and strength when I level up.

Well there is my favorite so now i want to here from you guys about your favorite build.

R1 +15 washing pole
R2 +15 claymore
L1 +5 demon spear
L2 +14 claws
Sack +10, kirks chest +5, havels gloves, any skirt.

Ps. Giants and MoM wont get much love around here...

I like how versatile it is basically.

Armor:
All Giant minus chest which is black iron.

Weapons:

Washing Pole
Bk Knife
Demon's Great Hammer
Balder Side Sword
Ricards Rapier
Parry Dagger
titanite catch pole

(dragon bone fist and caestus in another sense)

Vit/End/Str/Dex
50/40/20/45

Basically a dex build with pyro thrown in for some fun. I use this build when I'm gettin serious lol

Silver Knight Spear/Uchigatana+15 in the left hand
Baller Swag Sword+15/Pyro Flame in the right hand

Always on the offensive and keep it fast!

Fap ring gives me 1800 hp so I can survive those nasty backstabs too.

I don't know why the armor I use is so hated. But anyway another one of my favorites is the dark armor or ornsteins armor with the greatshield of artorias. Still the same magic and rings, But maybe the +15 Demon Machete with sunlight blade spell or the Moonlight greatsword +5 or the +5 raw washing pole.

I don't really use any parrying setups or pyro setups.

ps: the only reason I use the mask of mother is for the extra health incase I run into someone who backstabs me or who spams magic and wrath of gods.

I can also take off al my armor to use dragon torso stone, and instead of Havel's ring, put on wolf's.

I can use virtually any weapon in the game (other than the few who have stats in Int of Faith) at maximum power (not including buffing).

Love them both

Love my vitality/dex/pyro build with the Chaos Blade. And my new favorite spot is Undead Burg. ALWAYS 1v1, and way less "garbage", for lack of a better term, than all the other pvp spots.

@lex - lol, oops. You're right, the second end should be dex. Fixed.

@Yesu - I thought about 45 end, allowing me to wear heavier armor. I settled on 40 (since that's what I'm used to). I have 57 poise and decent defense.

I'm also not using the FaP. So, I can change rings: hornet's, bloodbite, chloranthy, and wolf's are my main go-to rings. It depends on my enemy I'm fighting.

Yup I am testing the leo ring now, since I am just barely starting to use pierce weapons.
Tested it on my brother while he was hitting me with WP and wearing full havels, I would
have killed him with the 65% plus damage it gives in total when you add the 20% regular.

So I am really liking it, you can see your oponent and choose to change your ring beforehand
from leo or wolf.

I have a weird fascination with the Leo Ring. It comes from starting off using spears, and eventually the Pike, in PvE. I messed up my chance to get the Leo Ring however, and will have to wait until my next play through.

One of the special rings granted to the four knights of Gwyn.
The Leo Ring belonged to Ornstein the Dragonslayer.
His lugged spear is said to have sliced a boulder in two.

Use


Strengthens counters with Pierce Weapons

Availability

• Game version 1.03 and older: During the Dragon Slayer Ornstein & Executioner Smough boss fight, kill Ornstein first and collect the ring.
  

• After patch 1.04/1.05: Kill Executioner Smough first. At the end of the boss fight Ornstein should leave the ring behind.
  

Notes

• Does not affect critical hits (backstab & riposte: try the Hornet Ring) or striking a recoiling opponent (you have broken his guard, kicked him, or blocked his attack and caused him to stagger).
  

• To perform a counter, strike an opponent at the same time his attack
  would have hit you or IMMEDIATELY afterwards, before they recover from
  the "peak" of their attack animation.
  

• Normally this gives a ~20% physical damage bonus when using a weapon
  that is capable of counter attacks. The Leo Ring boosts counter damage
  by approximately 40%, for a total of ~67% greater power than normal.
  

• Counter attacks only give a bonus to physical damage, so the effect
  is weaker with elemental, magic/enchanted, and divine/occult weapons.
  The pure magic Moonlight Butterfly Horn cannot deal counter attacks at all.
  

• Confirmed counter attack weapons: Thrusting Swords, Spears, some Halberds (Scythe does not work but Lucerne and Gargoyle Halberd do, for example), Straight Swords and Katanas of all sizes that perform a thrusting power attack, Arrows
  

• The damage boost applies for almost every enemy in the game, including bosses and large foes.
  

I'm thinking it's a mistake but it says the Gargoyle Halberd has been confirmed to work with the Leo Ring. I love this weapon and use it quite often in PvE. It has no thrusting attacks. Could you perhaps test the Gargoyle Halberd out with the Leo Ring? The range, speed and variety of moves the Gargoyle Halberd has is excellent imho. If it worked with the Leo Ring that could turn out to be an amazing combo.
