Every time you're near the Kings run around the corner to where Beatrice's sign is. I swear that's the most common spawn for them, and unless you go over there every time to kill that one lonely wraith you'll never know it's there.

Be careful, if you hit a vagrant and then don't kill it it vanishes from your world
I met my second one ever in the catacombs the other day and I wacked it with my fist then went on my merry way because I heard they get stronger if you leave them be, so I wanted to see how much it could grow, when I came back after beating pinwheel it was gone.

hmm. well it wasnt there when i spawned and i didnt kill it so maybe it is somwhere else in dukes or somwhere else in my world? I wonder:)

Well I'm exploiting a glitch to do it, so of course I am. I can't believe how many people do this and seem to think it works. I even chatted with someone who dropped his humanity items in chunks to cause vagrants. Do you know how many people do it wrong? They think they can just leave and have the vagrant spawn. This was the first vagrant I've ever seen (was invading in Demon Ruins).
I was so totally freaked out that I felt the need to take a pic and then make a thread here and ask WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRABOMINATION? But then I did some research first :roll:
In total I've seen 5 vagrants by now, 2 while invading in Demon Ruins and 2 as a host in Kiln and 1 while invading Kiln. And still on my 1st playthrough!

I have seen quite a many.
First time, I laughed so hard.
Second time, I didn't because it killed me when I was dealing with the pinwheels.
After that, it just brightens up my day when I see those little guy woblling my way.

I had a Dream I saw a Vagrant...I think its bad I dream about Dark Souls at all, but a Vagrant which I've never even seen in game? That's sad xD

Yeah, I'm on Xbox. I immediately assumed it was from the Vagrant event this weekend.
But, no, the host didn't die. We'd already killed the archers with poison arrows. He just freaked a bit and ran past it. I killed it for him, but he'd already run off to the balcony and didn't get the item.

I saw one yesterday in Darkroot forest on the way to the sealed door. It was up on the ledge to the left where the Wolf Ring is at. Unfortunately I had low health and no heals so I died before I was able to make it there, however I was capturing video at that moment and when I went back to watch it I actually saw it spawn.
