by Sir Zero Tue Apr 24, 2012 10:46 pmOk so on every website and fourm i go on people always say that the normal version of the sword cant attack ghosts but when i made it i killed the ghosts with the non cursed version and the item decripion is the one for the noe cursed version and the blade for my sword was a light blue and not the black of the cursed on also my brother had both versions of the sword and he agrees with me.So what im asking is why does every one think that the normal one does ent attak ghosts.

Because it's not suppose to, goes right through them unless you have the item curse or yourself are cursed. Unless it got changed somehow and no one is aware of it.

I'm doing an Artorias build, and only my Cursed Version damages the ghosts unless I'm using Transient, I've been doing a lot of tests with that weapon actually. If I figure out how the Wiki works, I'll add them haha.

Scaling information, damage split information and level ranges in which the Cursed version out damages the True version, etc. Nothing too major, just a bunch of little findings I've made. Such as that the cursed version is a viable weapon if you have 10 faith and 10 int.

you only need 10 INT/FTH for the cursed version of the sword to work? i''m working on a Abyss Walker build using the Abyss sword, is it the same with that one as well? what is the damage difference? i have to know!

Won't the sword just (even if you have the right STR and DEX) bounce of the target. It would deal damage, but you also get stunned instead?

If it is actually the normal Greatsword of Artorias, it is a bug. It is not supposed to hit ghosts.
