Multiple PSN IDs, resolved please lock :)

So, I found another guy on internet with my name, so I just called dibs on it whenever I wanna put it into action... But how the hell can I use it on my Playstation? It tells me Im not allowed to sign into someone elses PSN, but I see some of you guys have multiples..

what's up with that? How do you bypass this... annoyance?

You won't be able to use it if someone else already has registered it. You'd have to do like "Serious_Much2" or something like that.

To make a new ID you just go all the way to the left of the XMB and select "Create New User"

I made one... but on my laptop, but need to register it to my PS3.. how do i do that?

It's cool i got it, was trying to sign in with a different PSN ID one on my usual user, sorted.

Please someone lock this embarrassment of a thread, maybe put it in the tomb of giants so you guys can chronicle my idiocy (is 3am though )

I'm not sure. I've never done it that way before. I'm not sure that it works that way even.

I hate my PSN ID. You know how it is, just fired up new console and they ask you for A NAME! So you sit there, wanting to get on with it but searching your head to find something, anything that will do. That's how I got mine and I would really like to change it because I hate it so much.

So, what I want to know is, if I create a new user, will all my gamer trophies be transferred to the new name?

Nope, they won't, you have to start fresh, not that I really care at all as I just would rather have "Serious_Much" instead of "HolyPK9" as my name
