I'm trying to find the lightest possible way to get to 56, because with the loadout I want at 99 end I get to exactly 25%. For now I'm just using Havel's Leggings + Gauntlets.

Elite Knight Chest plus wolf ring is 55 I believe. Basically, the wolf ring is the easiest way to get the most amount of poise for the least weight.

I need my ring slots. 55 poise will stagger from the MLGS too.

At 99 end, Havels helm, Lautrec's chest, And Giant's gauntlets is 59 poise at roughly 23 percent burden. Then the legs are a free spot.

Okay then. Nothing lighter than Havels. I'll just switch weapons around in the menu when I need to.

That's right. Havel's has the best poise/ weight ratio of all armors (except the hollow soldier waistcloth--but sometimes you need more than 7 poise from your legs... and something better looking too!).Quarik wrote:Okay then. These are the lightest setups I've found:
- 56 poise, no rings: Havel's Gauntlets and Leggings, 23 weight
- 55 poise*, Wolf's ring: Hollow Soldier Waistcloth, Gargoyle Helm, 5 weight
- 76 poise, no rings: Havel's Gauntlets and Leggings, Knight's Chest, 33.9 weight
- 76 poise, Wolf's ring: Havel's Gauntlets, Gargoyle Helm, 15 weight
*The break point is 53 or 54, I think, but I'm pretty sure the 56 and 55 I've listed are lighter than anything at exactly 54 poise, so I go for those.

2h greatswords are 53, but the MLGS is 56. I'm not sure about the UGS breakpoint, but I know it's either 76 or 77. To get 77 I do Havels L+G and Black Knight chest with whatever for a helmet.

Re: Light way to get 56 poise?
I don't think the MLGS is even 56--I think it's just broken. I used to have 76 poise all the time, and even then sometimes I'd get stunlocked by the damn thing. I have 60 poise now, and just yesterday I got stunlocked in a 1-HANDED R1 combo--I was pretty angry about that one.
