Don't get me wrong I like my Uchi +10 but it wasn't worth murdering that npc over lol. Tho I do now prefer the Iato, just has a more usable set of special moves. So I think my Uchi is going to be turned into a chaos sword.

Iaito all the way baby!!!! That guy's a **** anyway. The first time I killed him was kind of nice. Also I have a question: I have never used Lloyd's Talisman. I know that if you use it on Mimics you can get what they're holding without a fight and I understand the premise that you can prevent enemies from using Estus, but have you found them practically useful?

I've never found them usefull in PvE, but they are great in PvP. Nothing like throwing them at the farmers in the forest and watching them fail to heal themselves as you charge in for a lunge attack.

I'm afraid you can only get them from other players now, other than four or so that are in a chest in firelink. This is why I always tell everyone to never kill that guy, especially since Shiva sells that weapon to Forest Hunters haha.

I killed him first time round cause the uchi was so badass in demon's souls, I was wrong cause it kinda blows in dark souls considering all the other katanas.

I killed the merchant as well... Someone wrote a message near him saying beware of trap... I thought ha this guy isn't fooling me and rushed in guns blazing...er sword swinging... Didn't realize he was a merchant until much later... Damn you bad message writer! Haha

I'm not sure exactly, I know the wiki has both +15 stats but I haven't memorized them though.
I didn't want to go through Blighttown so I didn't pick up the Iaito, just went through the Valley of Drakes entrance.

Well I much prefer the Iato's moveset. The R1s are the same but all the rest of the moves are more useful, especially the R2 which is faster and much easier to land since its a broad slash. Plus the R2 screams Samurai!
