I feel you, I drop indictments and they never pick them up either.

I had a Fire Knife +9 dropped for me the other day. I spent hours trying to off load it onto someone else.

This fear of item pick ups probably stems from me throwing down random item drops when I'm GLing and then finding all sorts of creative hiding spots, then ambushing my unsuspecting prey. Though if they are new to the game they get to live.

well at least your not giving them upgraded elemental weapons. i used to do that thinking it would help them against invaders, but i now regret it. all i did was ruin(imo) someones first playthrough by giving them a powerful weapon early on.

it takes a little while for them to see it in their world and like viral said most people that drop aitems just want you to pick them them and ohko with the hornet ring and a rapier.

Rant Egg Head + Thorn set, really??? My Chaos pyro will surely wear that!!!! It'll look better with the DGA though...

nope, DGM looks a lot better! the toon wear black cleric more because of fast roll, sometimes i just invade naked though, its fun, i won 3v1 last night, somehow i find pw to be easier to deal with 3v1 than that damn forest. ok enough off topic, im done.

Last time someone dropped me something REAL good was a Fire Knife +10. A weapon I was lazy to make, but now I use it quite often with my Forest conv. invader. I was kinda acting like a noob so I guess the other player had pity on me lol. I used to do the same in the past donating stuff, but I don't think all players like to receive stuff - the impression I got, because I had to point down/wait near the item for 36445 hours.

i used to make fire rapiers and fire longswords and pass them out to noobs in undead burg with my first low level character, but i know wish i didnt. My thinking was it would help them defend against invaders but in reality it would just make them worse players cause they got an advantage early on.
