After a couple hundred hours spent with my first toon, I finally took the plunge and made a second. My first was a dex/pyro focus with a few misspent stat points. (It was my first character.) So I decided that the next would be a Str/Fai build, there's still melee but it's pretty much out of my comfort zone, i.e. he would be slower moving and I've never used miracles before. So now that I'm level 40 and about 5 hours in I have a few observations.
1) The people on this forum are vastly more skilled than I am. People who talk about doing no death runs or no healing runs, making builds and leveling them to 120 in 10 hours are an inspiration. Gentlemen, my hat's off to you.
2) Stun-Locking is the best damn thing ever. I really didn't know what I was missing. But even two-handing my Mace +7 I am stun-locking and destroying most enemies. It took a while to realize that I had opened a window of opportunity upon stun-locking my opponents.
3) What does a guy got to do to get a Large Club? How many poisonous, damned barbarians do I have to kill to get one of these things?
On the plus side I finally have a character that's a Sun Bro.
That is all...thanks for listening.
