Favorite Places to Invade

Just wondering what peoples' favorite places to do pvp invasions are and why. Personally I just Red Orb in Anor Londo mostly. Theres the occasional party of 3 and the narrow corridors can make things interesting.

My favorite place to invade is the forest, been hunting gankers there for the last 200hours i played Dks lol.
I just love the everything goes attitude there, you never know whats coming for you.
Sometimes the reds like to kill you or you find a nice 1v3 .

I usually stick to the Kiln, mostly out familiarity, but also because you get some good duels. Catching people trying to play through the game has never been my thing. It's less exciting for me to invade someone whose main priority is just to survive. And spots like the Forest and Dark Londo get old because of the high percentage of mismatched odds, even though the "no rules" mentality adds an appealling element of unpredictability. The Burg is probably the best spot in the game for straight up duels, but having to clear the enemies every time I hit the bonfire gets old. And I've fallen off those effing stairs waaay too many times from toggle locking that butthole undead at the bottom and misstepping. Plus my favorite build is at 225 and there's hardly any action there at that level.

So that's pretty much the rundown of my reasoning. Each spot has it's own draws and drawbacks. Just find some you like, dial in the environment, study the competition, and go apeshit.

I enjoy the Forest, the Burg, and Painted World.

painted world. everywhere else i host. might be because i don’t have any DW/DM yet. going to make one and then i will probably invade in catacombs, sens, butterfly garden, forest, lost izalith.

If I am not at FC, then I am going to be at the Undead Burg for duelling. Always enough action happening there at SL 120 and, you can see some crazy builds from time to time.

any where Roan is not because he kicks my *** 100% of the time every time.

Fighting under extreme conditions.
To those who don't know, since the anti-TWoP patching, you can perform light rolls in the water using the DWGR and 25% equipment load.
This way properly equipped level 1 characters can outplay higher levels in stamina.

Elseway UB, of course.
There are simply the pros, or at least honorable players, usually.

Undead Parish... sometimes it's dead (pun intended) but when it's not I've had nothing but good duels there. No Forest nastiness

yea i been invading the parish alot because its close to the BF for Sen's roof. i had some awesome duels the other day with a Host and a sunbro. once host got low i would let the host heal up and swap out with the sunbro and they would take turns getting their *** kicked by me. only time i actually killed them is when i did a Parry when they had low life, other wise they would retreat. i did't mind though they both fought very fair and honorably so the more i let them heal the more duels we had.\


some times i enjoy the chaos of the forest though.

I love PvPing in Sens. I really enjoy setting myself up so that when they reach me they have to fight the level as well as me. Makes me feel like a Bond villain. Although to be fair I usually end up killing myself just as readily.

i must have crappy luck cause all i see in the burg is lagstabbers and fishers, ive had a couple of good fights there but too few compared to the painted world which is my favourite place to pvp when FC is not on, i have seen so many interesting builds there and i just started gravelording there and in one day gravelording i had more legit duels than all my hours spent in the kiln and burg, everyone is so nice when youre gravelording(for the most part), i get eyes all the time before a fight.

i could lol, since ive joine the gravelords i have been gravelorded and actually seen bp's for the first time(coincidence?) its really random but doable, mofo and i gravelorded each other in the moonpit, we had to move to parish because the stone giants were a pain in the *** to clear every time we got killed.

I like to invade the Catacombs at SL80 and Anor Londo at SL 120.

The Forest. You'll never know what you bump into. And the feeling of killing gankers is awesome.

For invasions, I enjoy Sen's and Lost Izalith the most.

Sen's in fun just to play with people, kill their phantoms, mess with them a while, then crystal out.

Lost Izalith I like because of the huge variety of weapons you run into, which is great for parry practice. And also because chameleon, in Lost Izalith, transforms you into a fire-jabba, which is hilarious to parry people as!

Catacombs, the Forest, I just love those two areas deeply.

Oh by the way, when invading in Lost Izalith, I recommend resting at the bonfire behind Firesage and using your orb where Solaire goes hollow (you can open the shortcut from that side without giving 30 humanity to DoC). That way you spawn right in front of the BoC door and don't have to go through the lava all the time, which will save you a lot of annoyance and unnecessary gear damage.

Nice tip. I remember trying to invade there with a low vitality mage, I wasted more humanity to heal from lava than from battles

I have three Darkwraiths.

One invades from Solaire's bonfire in Anor, (level 50). The second invades from the Demon Ruins bonfire, (level 75, invades mostly NG+ players). And the last invades from the second Tomb of Giants bonfire, (level 75).

I love them all dearly.

UD burg has become my favorite place. You see some interesting builds and it almost always 1v1
