Joining a Forum Covenant

I have no idea how to do this. Do I just say "Ok. I want to join now." And I just join? Or is there some kind of initiation where I get soda dumped on my shoes? <--(Fifty million brownie points if you get this reference. Please, PLEASE let me know if you get this so we can go hang out later. And make love)

I'm on my way to make my first lvl 120 character for Fight Club. I'd join Priscilla's Covenant, too... But, alas, I've killed her over 3 times, and I love her, but I kill her anyway. What can I say? I'm addicted to a certain kind of sadness. <--(Only 50,000 brownie points for getting this reference.)

It all depends on the covenant. Usually the covenant has it's own thread, so you could check out the rules and regulations there. Or you could PM the leader.

Also, I do not get either of the references. I was really wanting those brownie points.

Tthanks. Will do. Fight Club is kind of what I'm going for, since I have HORRIBLE internet. 1.5mbps down, .2 mbps up. *sigh* Makes rolling away from backstabs absolutely impossible.

Ok. This is going to be a lot of reading. I have an hour break between classes tomorrow. I'll save this for that. And for every hour break every day for the next few weeks... Hahahaha! I want to make an informed decision the first time, and not be that douche Clan Hopper. Or in this case, Covenant Hopper haha!

Haha! I totes would, but my main playing style is Tanking. Though, I gottah say, my Dex based P.Dagger/Black Bow of Pharis wielding gal is REALLY FREAKING FUN! I'll read them all if I can

If you are just looking for fight club you don't have to join those, just show up to them. You're playing on PSN right?

I think most of the covenants are actually pvp based, but not similar to a FC fights. They will have wars now and then but mostly its just using invasions to complete a task with randoms. meaning back stabbing won't be reduced.. (someone correct me if I am wrong I am as neutral as Switzerland in my covenant knowledge)

If you want FC, I reccomend you PM one of the poeple running them, or any of the PVP board regulars.

Ahh. Classic Fight Club (I only saw the movie once) You don't have to really do anything special to get in. You just get in, and you're in, but you don't ever get out. Because you don't want to get out XD hahahahahaha!

We actually had the first cov war 2 days ago. Before that it was basically just following the ideas of your cov. And since most of them were invasion based it was all invading people and doing normal pvp. Me and Viral are trying to start some organised events to get mroe people interested in the covenants.

I'm super interested, but I never really liked Clan Rules, ya know? Never really joined hardcore guilds in the few MMO's I've played. Only one I've joined is the most recent MMO, but only because I'm apart of the Inner Council, and the leader is my best friend haha!

I'll keep reading, but I'm a kind of guy who doesn't fit into categories.

Point: I'm lucky there are a lot of covenants, because I'm going to have to find the PERFECT one for me XD

Its not really clan rules. You'll find most of them just require you to wear certain armour while acting as a cov member.

As I'm reading The Followers of Izalith, I'm coming to realize that XD Pretty awesome, the followers of Izalith. Really good way to get a lot of members is by creating a very wide-span of ways to join and play in the clan. They've described all 3 of my main characters haha! Chaos based pyromancer (boss killer, really) Dex based bleed, and my Str based tank.
