Re: Favourite Enemy?
I'm going to have to say the Darkroot Forest clan, Especially the first time in a playthrough. The two knights don't respawn, and you need to take every fight carefully because as a group they will destroy you. I have always wondered why the knights don't respawn, possible hired Mercenaries on a contract with Alvina? Payed with the souls they acquire from defeating intruders?

Are there BP Bonewheels in the Painted World? (The Cursebook is vague on the area, at the moment.) Gravelorded PW would probably be my favorite area in the game.

Re: Favourite Enemy?
The skeletons in demons souls go unmatched as the coolest enemies in "souls" games, but in dark souls my favorites gotta be the Balders, dat cape.

Re: Favourite Enemy?
As far as normal enemies my favorite has to be the Balder Knights. When you're an appropriate level for them the fights are so great. I've never experienced a moment in gaming quite like squaring off with a Balder Knight and then just circling each other sizing each other up, it just felt so right like this is how it really would happen.
When it comes to bosses it is definitely the Moonlight Butterfly. I just stumbled in alone, not knowing what was gonna be in there and then I saw the butterfly, I was awe struck. The setting, music and foe all came together perfectly to make an amazing experience. Sif was a similar amazing moment and is a close 2nd.

Re: Favourite Enemy?
I'll amend my favourites, another of my favourites are Flamelurker from demons and Gwyn (no parry). Both of those fights simply become not a simple dodging and attacking exercise, both of these are simply desperately fighting for your life. Neither of of them give you space for any significant amount of time and it just makes the fight so intense and exciting.

Re: Favourite Enemy?
Black Knights, nothing is more satisfying than a long drawn out fight with one and getting the perfect parry - riposte or backstab and ending the fight.
Other than that, as far as common enemies go, I just love love LOVE Undead Assassins, so fun to fight, and they drop good loot.

I can confirm for you, there are BP Bonewheels in the Cursebook, AND in the Painted World.
My favourite enemy? Pinwheel. My arch-rival? Bridge Wyvern Drake
