A Sunlight medal?

So I was going for some Jolly cooperation on the Iron Golem just now, and I got a sunlight medal

Now, thats not odd, but I wasn't a Sunbro, and I'm sure Tarkus isn't one. Did the host give me one? I thought hosts couldn't.
Or is this just a random yet odd glitch?

If you're co-oping with someone who is a SunBro, be it an NPC, host, or another summon you'll be rewarded, if victorious, with a Sunlight Medal.

I understand that, but I was summoned with Iron Tarkus, who is not A sunbro, and neither am I, but I stil lgot the medal.

I was asking if I was wrong, and you do get medals from hosts who are sunbros, or if it was a glitch.

Your host was more than likely a SunBro, unless your game glitched on you in some weird way.

Well I guess you would since technically a sunbro is a sunbro whether or not hes walking around looking like hes made of solid sunny d

Ah so I was wrong? I always thought you didn't get a medal if the host was the only Sunbro

i thought the same thing. you shouldnt get one from the host.

I've gotten one from helping a friend who is ALWAYS a Sunbro, so It's not too strange. I think you get them from Hosts.

Since everyone seems to be saying it all cryptic and "second-guessy," I'll say it straight out

You got it from the host. If the host is a Sunbro, you will still get a medal even if none of the phantoms are Sunbros.

I wonder why I thought you didn't get it from hosts. Must have just misheard

Huh. The host MAY be a sunbro. But I don't know.
