Any good PVP builds? Empty Any good PVP builds?

Post by FattyOfDoom Sun May 20, 2012 7:14 pm

Hey everyone! I've been bored so I'm trying to create a new build but no luck, so I'm wondering if you can help?

I want it to be a bit unique but no ideas that are not viable. No Giant's set flipping monsters and must be SL120

Hold on... I'll edit this in a second.

    http://tinyurl.com/ceozvwj

This is a build I had before hand... It is unique, and it is interesting.

The Leather Divine, if you would like to call it. Good amount of poise, good amount of vitality, defense, and is good on itself. Derives from faith, using self-buffs (Karmic Justice and Greta Magic Barrier), Heal (Great Heal), and at times when needed Projectiles (Emit Force)

I picked the spectacle ring because I used it, along with wolf ring and ring of the sun princess, which buffs all but karmic justice (I think it does great magic as well) with synergy, which is different than normally buffing it with something such as dusk crown or first born ring.

The Mail breaker is their for parrying, in which it has a 120 critical (highest for all rapiers), designed for heavy Armour (giants, havel, pick any and they go right threw), and in case of emergencies shield blockade. I use a large leather shield, because it was the most appropriate for the characters style, it is generally good, and this character would be better off rolling anyways silly

Last, but not least, is the crescent axe. As it is a divine character of sorts, he also uses the crescent axe as well. With the physical and divine being balanced more so on each plate, the character also uses a divine mail breaker as well, to be upgraded with the faith. The mail breaker does not change much when occult in damage, other than the balance of magic and physical.

That is one of my builds, an old build. i tried to use similar character with crystal weapons, but did not work very well. This one, however, did.

no build is unique. not one. someone has already done everything, especially if its worth doing. Just experiment untill you find something you like, do it untill you're bored, repeat.

Not what you're asking for, but pvp has been reinvigorated for my by doing low level invasions with level appropriate weapons.

Use my build, if you don't mind using rapiers, parrying coupled with poor poise and defense for no reason except to raise coolness.

unique means singular, one of a kind.

on topic, the dgm is fairly rare, as is the giants halberd, whip, and dragon bone fist.

I do not think that everyone tried every combination of things. As I see it, many favour certain armours and weapons in the majority.

I got this character that is unique. It might be helpful for looking for something that is unique.

Use 40 strength, 40 dex, 40 vitality, and 45 endurance. Then use Havels Ring and Dark Wood Grain Ring.
Switch weapons at will, you can cosplay as 90% of the NPC's in the game, and you can use essentially anything without having too many problems. It's the most versatile, and there is plenty of things you can do with it that doesn't involve choosing to be cheap.
