The community here is solid, i have no idea why its turned all preachhate/hatepreach.

Pendant, I advise to try and stay. The community is in a bit of a bad way right now, but that's when people are needed to try and make a difference.

^^ Hate thread is going to begin again - the forums standards are beginning to die out, no offence. It has turned into a sanctuary of hate and flaming, rather than a safe haven where we help each other...

It hasn't turned into anything, differences in opinion can't be resolved so arguments come up. That's no comment on the health of the community. Can you summarise when where and why you think its turned flamey? As i said im out of this loop and I WANT IN!

Have you seen any of the recent threads? the two most recent locked ones were ridiculously flaming - I agree everyone has different opinions but everyone was attempting to enforce their rules upon someone, it doesn't matter if they have a different playstyle etc; Basically there are a lot more locked threads nowadays than there used to be - f**k, two weeks ago.

Yesterday was quite a bad day for the forum. 3 locked threads, questioning one another and flaming. The opinions got really out of hand, I'm included in that bunch.

To be fair, I think this is humorous.

I think this is also retarded, and my companion agrees with this sentiment, as she told me herself.

It's relative to one person, but maybe not to another. It is, in most cases, NOT relative to all. The flaming of honour, battle, and other forms has been argued since the beginning of civilization and ideals for man, and they have not learned a damn thing.

You are not resolving anything. You don't have to accept it, but take it with sincere heart that if you beat them in combat with honour, you make yourself feel better. If you kill people otherwise, you do it becuase you enjoy it in your own way. Different minds do stuff for different things.

If you see any of these posts again, if I was a moderator, I would lock them immediately. Seriously, it is just grabbing to the trolls of flames. You are letting them win, and that means for both sides that have such trolls and passionate idealists. Stop arguing, and fight the way you should do it: Show the other side who is boss on the battlefield. Do not make this bonfire into one. This is a resting place, a community... not a battleground for dominance. Do it in what this community is connected to:

Do it in the rest of Lordran, not here.

Wellllll now i haven't really paid attention cos i been busy. I only really look at the archives.

FOR ME the lag and technical faults in pvp make it a bit too difficult for me to really get into so im more interested in all that story fun.

But flame wars are all well and good if they stay in "i dont back stab cos im really good at the game" threads and nowhere else.

Especially in the archives...

Otherwise all speculation would stop and noone would suggest anything.


Just to throw in my opinion to help get the thread locked (lol), in skateboarding theres a concept of switch? So if your really good you do a switch flip down the same set someone whos not as good will kickflip. What im saying is people with advanced technique are kick *** but to the untrained eye watching the guy switch flipping the set might be less impressive because it requires more effort, ya dig? If we all worked that way then everyone can be satisfied. Best bet is learn all the strategiesessesss.

Yeah it was blair witch project. I kind of think it might be the stupidest most out of sorts thing ive seen a character do in an earnest movie. And i have seen allot of student films.
