The pendant is quite obviously something to wear round your neck. It's a piece of jewellery. Jeweller's shop windows are full of them.

i think i figured it out from said it was good for the story to pick the
pendant maybe it's good for the player's story because your char is focused on what it does

The Pendant has no use besides trading it with the crow. That's the truth. People have been researching it for almost a year, so believe me, it does not do anything right now, but I believe that the DLC will add something to it maybe.
Also in case no one told you: the statue behind Frampt, WAS A GATE, it was a feature that developers removed, Andre was supposed to open, because he was going to be a more important character, that was removed too. Just saying, you're not crazy, but it was removed.
